Salt Spring Golf Club Leagues
An exciting part of being a member at Salt Spring Island Golf Club is the opportunity to play in Leagues. These are social events and competitions for all different groups and for various ability and competitive levels, from those who just want an enjoyable social round to those who want a taste of more serious games. The Leagues run throughout the golf season. More information about Member Leagues can be located under the Member Area of this website.

Women’s Wednesday — Free Intro to Golf
Women’s Wednesday Golf 9 Holes (WWG) April 22 – Sept. 21, 2026
These sessions begin April 22, at 3pm. (1 hour ahead of WWG — see below), but you can join anytime! We will be offering instruction for newbies, novice golfers, and women needing a refresh. Experienced golfers willing to help improve your game. Grip, stance, putting, chipping, rules and etiquette will be covered. This will be a 9 week program for non-club members and members (19 + years). A weekly sign up is required by 6pm on Mondays.

SSIGC Women’s Social League – Open to the Public and Members
Women’s Wednesday Golf 9 Holes (WWG) April 22 – Sept. 30, 2026
WWG welcomes all women, club members and non-members alike, along with their friends
and guests, to enjoy golf with the emphasis on fun and camaraderie. Every Wednesday
WWG tee times will start at 4 PM. After the round, players enjoy refreshments and socializing in Paco’s where winners of the Toonie Pot and other prizes are announced.
The fee to join WWG is $35 for the season. (Want to try it out? Play 3 times with the group
before the fee is due.) Green fees are at a reduced rate for WWG. A weekly sign-up is required to set tee times and groups. Email the WWG Captain by 6 pm every Sunday and you will receive tee time confirmation on Tuesdays.
Regular club members who are members of WWG will be eligible to win WWG club trophies
at the end of the season
