Led by our CPGA teaching professional, Cam Fergusson, the Salt Spring Island Golf Club has a number of associates and members who contribute to instruction at various levels at our club.
Meet Our Teaching Pro
Cameron Fergusson is our PGA of Canada teaching professional. He offers one on one and group lessons to all levels of golfers. Cam played competitive golf through his junior years and went through the CPGA apprenticeship program to earn his certification. Cam comes by his teaching honestly, learning originally from his father who was also a teaching pro and manager of various courses including the Salt Spring course in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Cam brings his years of golf experience into his instruction and is a keen supporter of our developing juniors in both the high school program and younger age groups. Cam’s thoughtful and kind way of teaching will help beginner to advanced players find direction and improvement in their game. For over 3 years, Cam has been a welcome and valued addition to the Salt Spring Island Golf Club teaching program.
